We're concerned with how people will experience and use what we design. We strive to make things that are clearly of their time, but are also comfortable, engaging and just a little surprising in how they solve the problems our clients bring us.

We aim to make buildings that will be "good neighbours" — that will improve or complement their surroundings. We give careful attention to the role of natural light and colour in our projects and work to make positive connections between interior spaces and the natural world outside.

We value planning that is clear and logical, construction detailing and material selection that are appropriate and durable. We're not deterred by modest budgets or real-world building programs.
